What are my COGS? Can I improve my gross margins? Do I need to raise prices or cut costs? Am I overspending? Do I have the budget to expand production?
If you're a CPG founder and find yourself asking these questions, look no further, you've come to the right place. Accurate financial statements and cost-effective accounting are foundational to the viability of early-stage food startups. Not only do they allow founders to evaluate their cash runway and profit margins but also provide the vital information they need to set budgets, raise capital, and make strategic decisions.
Financing and Accounting Strategies for Food Startup Success will provide you with a thorough understanding of financial data and structured accounting processes. Crystal Estrada and David Davick will dive deep into the following topics:
Top financial questions for emerging companies
Financial expectations through the growth cycle: phases of growth, financial expectations by stage, and capital sources
Basics of financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow management
You will acquire best practices on how to gauge the financial health of your business and take it to the next level. You will also have the chance to ask Crystal and David your most pressing questions as they relate to financing, accounting, and cash flow management.
The session is free to attend and will be hosted live. RSVP to get the link to join and have access to the recording of the session.
