  • CIC Kendall 1 Broadway Cambridge, MA, 02142 United States (map)

Looking to launch a high-growth food product? Interested in learning from the experts?

On Thursday, October 5th, Branchfood is delighted to host Mary Waldner, founder of Mary's Gone Crackers, for a fireside chat starting at 6pm at CIC Kendall in Cambridge. We'll be talking with Mary about her humble beginnings as a passionate, gritty food entrepreneur and how she grew her company to 250 employees, eventually selling it to a Japanese company. Join us to learn more about her journey, what she did right, what she should have done differently, and get your burning questions answered!

Snacks and drinks will be provided at the event.

About Mary:
Inspired by her own struggles with Celiac Disease, Mary sought to ameliorate the shortage of nutritious and delicious, gluten free options available in grocery stores. Using her hand-crafted recipes, she founded Mary's Gone Crackers in 2004 and the product quickly became a big hit among consumers. In 2008, Mary's Gone Crackers Original was awarded the Sofi Gold for the most outstanding cracker at the New York Fancy Food Show. In 2012, Mary's Gone Crackers joined with Kameda Seika, the leading maker of rice crackers in Japan, to expand her healthful products to a wider audience. Mary holds a Master's degree in clinical psychology, and prior to Mary's Gone Crackers, she practiced as a psychotherapist for 26 years. Her background as a healer and food company entrepreneur is unique and allows her to connect with a variety of audiences.

Included in this event will be samples of Mary's Gone Crackers products paired with food samples from surrounding Boston-based startups.

We are excited about this opportunity and hope you can join!
