After 16 years in senior Sales and Marketing positions, BIll left and founded Prairie City Bakery over 25 years ago with our first product being Muffin Tops. Prairie City Bakery sold fully baked, frozen, thaw and sell Bakery goods to the C-store, Instore Bakery and Food Service Marketplaces with 125 SKU's into over 30,000 locations. Customers included Starbucks, Walgreens, 7-Eleven and the Chicago Cubs. We did it all without owning an oven. We outsourced to 11 different Co-packers and had a total of 13 employees. We also were on the INC Magazine 500/5000 list 4 times for fastest-growing companies. In May 2019 we sold to McKee Foods (Little Debbie Snacks) and now I mentor Entrepreneurs in the CPG and food space.
